The Santa Fe Area

Only five miles from downtown Santa Fe, our guests enjoy a location which affords easy access to the diverse, multi-cultural attractions our city is known for. Whether your day revolves around rodeo or opera, casino or museum-going, hiking or skiing, you’re in the right place. We’re located just north of I-25, with plenty of free parking for cars and even coaches for groups traveling together. Everyone wakes up to a free Bright Side Breakfast®, served hot or cold, before heading out. Day trips to casinos and ski areas are popular, a short stroll delivers you to Santa Fe Place Mall, or ask our friendly staff for directions to the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, indian pueblos, cultural museums of native art, and handicraft markets.

Santa Fe is a fascinating, charming destination, a state capital but certainly not a big city. You’ll experience the warmth of New Mexico sunshine and our people. Here, the pace of life slows. Santa Fe Plaza is the heart and soul of town, where the adobe Palace of Governors is the oldest public building in the nation, home to Spanish officials in the 17th century. Continue a history and architecture lesson with visits to San Miguel Mission, 18th century Santuario de Guadalupe, the Romanesque St. Francis Cathedral, and Gothic-revival Loretto Chapel. Browse lively farmers markets with artisan crafts, jewelry, weavings, silver, leather goods, and more. Visitors marvel that 25 minutes from a hot and sunny plaza, our pristine wilderness is a hiker’s paradise and the ski slopes are waiting.

You’ll have a flat-panel television offering 30 HD channels, a Plug-and-Play for your electronics, free Wi-Fi, coffeemaker, hairdryer, iron and board, alarm clock, voicemail, and free local calls. Our hotel welcomes your pets. Some restrictions apply.

Local Attractions

From our front door, it’s a two-minute walk to Santa Fe Place with 70 well-known stores and restaurants. If you’re looking for local artisan crafts, head to Santa Fe Plaza or Spanish Market, just five miles away. If visiting friends and relatives is on your agenda, the College of Santa Fe and University of New Mexico grad schools are each just four miles away. Many visitors take advantage of forests and hiking trails in the area, or a rodeo experience just down the road. You can visit cultural museums or Ski Santa Fe, a fun day out only 17 miles away. There’s so much to see and do, time will be your only constraint, but we’re so near Santa Fe’s attractions and downtown that not a moment will be wasted.
